Alexander Campbell, Adventurer in Freedom - Volume 3
By Eva Jean Wrather
Edited by D. Duane Cummins
TCU Press
The third, and final, volume of the Alexander Campbell biography by Eva Jean Wrather is now available. The three volumes stand together as one, presenting a seamless story of the profound life of Alexander Campbell. Among the three volumes, the first was edited during Wrather's lifetime with her full and active participation. Prior to her death she collaborated extensively with Dr. D Duane Cummins on the content of volume two---her favorite---and it was structured and edited within the context of those conversations. But there were no discussions regarding volume three. Left to Cummins' own judgment, it bears his organization and structure along with some of his own research, while preserving as much as possible Wrather's inimitable writing style.
